Straight Talk for Success
by Bud Bilanich

Although not our favorite book on this subject, this is still a very good eBook that deserves attention. The author, Bud Bilanich, is known as "The Common Sense Guy" because of his no-nonsense, straight forward, jargon-free approach to career and life success. He is a coach, role model, and mentor who is Harvard educated but has a common sense approach to work that goes back to his roots in the tough steel country of western Pennsylvania. Bud has authored six books on business and leadership and is a featured contributor to several business publications. He is also a regular guest on radio talk shows. Bud's clients include Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, Abbott Laboratories, PepsiCo, General Motors, Citicorp, JP Morgan Chase, AT&T, Pitney Bowes, and many more.

Straight Talk for Success is directed at young and mid-career professionals. However, anyone at any stage of their career can benefit greatly from Bud's heartfelt guidance and straightforward advice, especially if you are considering a career change.

This eBook is well organized and easy to understand. It is arranged in five parts based on Bud's research on what it takes for people to become successful. He paid attention, read books, studied successful people and found five traits that successful people had in common. They are:

1) Successful people are self-confident.

2) Successful people have powerful personal impact.

3) Successful people are outstanding performers.

4) Successful people have excellent communication skills.

5) Successful people are interpersonally competent.

Each of these topics is given a section in the back, with each section having its own chapters that give you further advice on the topics presented. In these 15 chapters Bud shares many heartfelt stories of both success and disappointment. He also gives you many stories of inspiration and humor so that you can take the message that each one gives and apply them to your life. One of Bud's favorite quotations is from the philosopher Goethe. It states, "Knowing is not enough, we must do. Willing is not enough, we must apply." With this eBook, Bud becomes the bridge between knowing and doing for anyone seeking career and life success.

In addition to the eBook, Bud also gives several Free Bonus Gifts:
